en was elected to the RWAU Board of Directors at the February 2007 conference to fill the
vacant spot of retired director Arnold Smith. He will represent Region 2. Ken is no stranger
to the Rural Water family. He came to work for RWAU in February of 1986, after spending seven years with Parowan
City as their Public Works
Director. He was also the city's building inspector and served as a volunteer fireman, as well as being a private
contractor on the side. Ken is certified in water distribution, wastewater lagoons, backflow testing and cross
connection control. In August of 2005, Ken resigned from his position at RWAU and took the public works director position
offered him at Brian Head Town. Ken is now working for Highlands Water in Morgan County.
