SB 17 Extraterritorial Jurisdiction Amendments

Sponsor: R. Okerlund

This bill modifies provisions regarding the extraterritorial jurisdiction of a municipality to enact protections for the municipality’s water works and water sources and provides a process by which a municipality may adopt an ordinance or regulation under the municipality’s extraterritorial jurisdiction.

SB 52S5 Secondary Water Metering Requirements

Sponsor: J. Anderegg

This bill requires a secondary water supplier to report certain information to the Division of Water Rights each year. It requires a secondary water supplier: to meter certain users on or after April 1, 2020; to develop a plan for metering to be submitted to the Division of Water Resources; and requires a study related to the issues related to metering secondary water by a task force within the Department of Natural Resources.

SB 152 Community Impact Fund Board Amendments

This bill modifies the membership of the Permanent Community Impact Fund Board and the selection of its chair. It also directs a portion of its receipts to be directed to the Seven County Infrastructure Coalition.

SB 189 Temporary Land Use Regulation Amendments

This bill adds a certain water study to the circumstances that allow a county legislative body to enact a temporary land use regulation that prohibits certain development and allows the county legislative body to extend the temporary land use regulations on the body’s own motion.
