Hyrum City | Water Reclamation and Collection Systems Operator

Hyrum City is currently accepting resumes for a full time Water Reclamation and Collection System Operator.  To assist with the operation and maintenance of the municipal wastewater collection and treatment systems.  Must have a maintenance background, mechanical skills, and experience with piping and plumbing is preferred.  
 
Must possess or be able to obtain a Utah Wastewater Treatment II Certification within 12 months of hire, and have a valid Utah Driver’s license.  Requires ability to perform moderately heavy physical manual labor frequently lifting up to 100 pounds.  Must be able to twist, kneel, and bend for associated tasks performed in the field.  Requires climbing down into manholes and working around raw sewage with exposure to certain chemicals commonly used in the treatment of wastewater.
