Full Job Description

Perry City currently has a job opening for our Public Works Director position. Duties of the Public Works Director include managing the Public Works team members and participating in the maintenance of City streets, parks, and City utilities including water, sewer, storm drain, and garbage services. The Director of Public Works is also responsible to ensure that the City meets the compliance of the State and all other regulatory agencies concerning Water, Sewer, and Storm Water management.

  • Required:
    • Qualified candidates will have an Associates Degree or equivalent technical training and experience in a related field.
    • Must have Grade I Water and Sewer Collections Certifications through the Utah State Division of Water Quality or obtain certifications within 6 months of hire.
  • Preferred:
    • Preference will be given to candidates with advanced certifications or graduate degree(s) in the above-mentioned areas and to those candidates with prior management experience.
