About this event

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Water Infrastructure and Cyber Resilience Division (WICRD), the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) will be offering in-person threat briefing sessions. This briefing will be general in nature and will not address any imminent threats. It will cover classified information on the following topics related to water and wastewater sector security threats and preparedness:

  • Water and wastewater sector specific threats to critical infrastructure (cyber and physical)
  • WICRD products and services
  • What to do in the event of a cyber or physical intrusion

Classification: Secret

The briefings will be available to cleared individuals. Attendees without an active clearance may be read-in for the day and will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement. All participants will be vetted by CISA prior to the briefing for final attendance approval.

Locations: TBD

Attendees will need to travel to accredited locations (TBD) to attend the in-person briefings which will be provided virtually in all ten EPA Regions. Information about briefing locations will be provided separately.

Note: Please plan to arrive one hour prior to the briefing to check in. CISA will be coordinating entrance into the facilities.
