I’m pleased to announce that John Mackey has accepted the appointment to serve as the Director of the Division of Water Quality effective July 5th.
John is a familiar face to many of you and has held critical roles within the Division since 2006, most recently as an assistant director.
His extensive experience in project management, infrastructure financing, knowledge of environmental programs and his track record of building stakeholder trust has prepared him well for his new role. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Utah and holds a B.S. and M.E. in Environmental Engineering.
John is a collaborative and respected leader that I’m confident you will enjoy working with.
