Utah Department of Environmental Quality Turns 30

Rural Water Association of Utahs (RWAU) Executive Director, Dale Pierson, was invited to speak at the celebration alongside Utah Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) Executive Director Kim Shelley and Representative Steve Handy.

Dale emphasized the importance of the healthy relationship between DEQ and RWAU. This tight alliance benefits the water and wastewater systems in Utah as well as their customers. As we look to the future of water and wastewater in this state, the most efficient work we do will be alongside government agencies such as DEQ.
