Key Responsibilities:
• Lead public outreach and education efforts, including community engagement and awareness campaigns
• Coordinate Water District events like Water Fair, Water Festival, Localscapes classes, and community booths
• Assist and attend meetings with the General Manager, supporting strategic communication and emergency response coordination
• Manage press releases, newsletters, social media, and website updates
• Assist in conservation programs and represent Central Iron County Water Conservancy District on regional boards
• Occasional travel and evening meetings (1–3 days/month)
Ideal Candidate:
• Strong communicator with experience in public relations and event planning
• Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable with public speaking
• Flexible schedule and ability to manage multiple projects
-High School Diploma or Equivalent
-Customer Service Skills
-Good Communication Skills: Verbal & Written
-Knowledge of Microsoft Office
-Organizational Skills
-Self Motivated & Quick Learner
-Knowledge of water, and GIS mapping is preferred, but not required
