Board & Staff

The Rural Water Association of Utah Board of Directors provides strategic leadership and guidance for the organization. Representing communities and utilities throughout the state, board members help ensure RWAU remains focused on serving the needs of Utah’s water and wastewater professionals.

The Executive Staff oversees the organization’s mission, strategic direction, partnerships, and daily operations. This leadership role helps ensure RWAU continues to deliver valuable programs, services, and advocacy for Utah utilities.

RWAU’s Legislative Staff monitors policy developments, legislative activity, and regulatory issues that impact Utah’s water and wastewater systems. This role helps keep members informed and represented on issues affecting the industry.

The Operations Staff manages the administrative, financial, membership, communications, and organizational functions that support RWAU’s programs and services. Their work helps ensure members receive timely resources, information, and support.

Project Staff coordinate specialized programs and initiatives designed to strengthen Utah’s water and wastewater systems. These team members work closely with utilities, partners, and communities to deliver targeted solutions and long-term improvements.

RWAU’s Technical Staff provides hands-on assistance, operational expertise, regulatory guidance, and field support to water and wastewater systems across Utah. Their practical experience helps utilities address challenges and improve system performance.

The Training Staff develops and delivers educational programs, certification support, workshops, conferences, and continuing education opportunities. Their efforts help utility professionals stay informed, maintain certifications, and advance their careers.
