Each year at the Annual Conference in St. George, RWAU recognizes individuals who go above and beyond in service to Utah’s water and wastewater community.
Categories include:
• Office Personnel of the Year
• Elected or Appointed Official of the Year
• Outstanding Service – Water Operator
• Outstanding Service – Wastewater Operator
• Water Operator of the Year
• Wastewater Operator of the Year

System Awards
RWAU honors systems that demonstrate excellence, innovation, and commitment to their communities.
Categories include:
• Most Improved Water System
• Most Improved Wastewater System
• Outstanding Water Service to Customers
• Outstanding Wastewater Service to Customers

University Scholarships
RWAU offers two scholarships of $1,500 each to support students connected to Utah’s rural water community.
Scholarship details:
• Two scholarships available
• $1,500 each
• $750 per semester
• Proof of full-time enrollment required
• Must be connected to an RWAU member system
