Full Job Description
- Direct and manage daily operations of the water district.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal water quality standards.
- Develop and implement budgets, policies, and strategic plans.
- Supervise and support district staff and contractors.
- Oversee maintenance, repairs, and emergency response.
- Prepare reports for the board and attend board meetings.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of management experience, preferably in utilities or public
works. - Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office and utility management software.
- Knowledge of water system operations and regulatory requirements.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must currently possess or obtain Utah Water System Operator certifications:
- Treatment Grade 2 or higher and Distribution Grade 2 or higher within the required
timeframe.
