In this role, you’ll oversee everything from budgets and payroll to customer service and board meeting preparation. What You’ll Do
- Oversee day-to-day office operations, including customer service, correspondence, and IT coordination.
- Manage district finances: prepare budgets, track revenues/expenses, reconcile accounts, and ensure compliance with GAAP and state reporting.
- Process payroll, benefits, and required county/state/federal reports.
- Serve as Treasurer and Purchasing Officer—ensuring proper accounting, purchasing, and compliance with laws.
- Act as Clerk/Elections Officer: prepare agendas, take and record board meeting minutes, manage district records (GRAMA), and coordinate elections.
- Support the District Manager and collaborate with maintenance staff to address customer needs, new service requests, and emergencies.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5–7 years of relevant experience or any combination of education, experience, and training which provides the desired knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP); government accounting experience a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills—you’ll interact with staff, board members, and the public.
- Bondable, valid Utah driver’s license, and willing to obtain Notary and GRAMA certification.
