Job Description

The Project Manager/Engineer oversees infrastructure projects, budgets, schedules, and construction coordination for the Company’s water systems and facilities. This role works closely with contractors, engineers, field staff, and the General Manager to support project delivery, water administration, long-term planning, and infrastructure protection.

What You Will Do
  • Manage infrastructure projects, schedules, budgets, and contractor coordination
  • Conduct construction observation and review pay applications
  • Review subdivision plans, canal crossings, and utility coordination requests
  • Assist with water administration, tracking, and state reporting requirements
  • Coordinate long-term capital planning and maintenance recommendations
  • Support dam safety inspections, SOPs, and emergency action plans
  • Assist with rights-of-way, surveys, deeds, and infrastructure documentation
  • Represent the Company in meetings related to water management and operations
What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum five years of engineering and project management experience
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in Utah in good standing
  • Strong understanding of water management and infrastructure systems
  • Ability to review engineering drawings, legal documents, and contracts
  • Experience with GIS, spreadsheets, and construction coordination
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Valid Utah Driver License with good driving record
Work Environment
  • Combination of office, field, construction, and outdoor work
  • Work in varying weather and terrain conditions year-round
  • Construction observation and infrastructure inspections
  • Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds and rare lifting up to 100 pounds
  • Exposure to traffic, equipment, and active construction environments
Compensation & Benefits

Salary range is $87,550 – $132,764 annually depending on qualifications and experience. This position offers the opportunity to lead major water infrastructure initiatives supporting long-term regional water delivery and system reliability.
