Position Summary
The Wastewater Operator reports to the Wastewater Division Manager and performs semi-skilled and skilled maintenance work on sanitary sewer and collection systems.
What You Will Do
- Maintain and repair sanitary sewer collection systems
- Support wastewater infrastructure operations
- Operate tools, equipment, and vehicles used in wastewater maintenance
- Inspect and maintain sewer lines, manholes, and related infrastructure
- Assist with emergency repairs and field operations
- Follow safety procedures and regulatory requirements
- Work under the direction of the Wastewater Division Manager

Compensation & Benefits
Pay range is $22.09–$36.77 per hour. This is a full-time position with the City of South Salt Lake.
