2026 Online Proctored Exam - TESTING CENTER

Please expect 2 - 4 weeks at a minimum for the scheduling of any exam

Testing Center Exams: 

• Testing Center exams are conducted on Tuesdays and Wednesdays by appointment only at the RWAU office in Bluffdale, Utah. 
• Exam appointments are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are limited to space available. Some dates may be unavailable due to holidays, RWAU Conferences etc. 
• You will schedule a specific exam appointment time as part of your testing center registration process. All available appointment dates and times will appear for selection at that time.

Remote Proctor Exams: 

• Remotely proctored exams are available for those located more than 50 miles from the RWAU office and who have a public water system number.
  • If you do not meet both of these stipulations, you will need to take your exam at the Rural Water Testing Center.
• Please allow 2 - 4 weeks at a minimum for the scheduling of a remote exam. The timing of these exams will depend on the travel schedule of the proctor as they need to coincide with their travel schedule. 

ADA Accommodations: 

• If you have a disability and need a special accommodation, please email admin@rwau.net. Special accommodations will need to be worked out prior to taking an exam.

Cancellation Policy:

• You will forfeit your exam proctor fees if you cancel or reschedule your exam with less than a 24-hour notice.
• You will forfeit your exam proctor fee AND the exam fee if you are a no-show for your exam without communication. 
  • At that point, you will need to complete and submit a new exam application and re-pay the exam fee to take the exam. 
  • You will forfeit your exam and proctor fee if you do not take your exam within ONE YEAR of registering for it. 
    • Proctors often need to be scheduled as far as a month in advance to coincide with their natural travel schedule, and RWAU office testing spots need to be scheduled 2 weeks in advance to test. PLEASE PLAN ACCORDINGLY and make sure you test with either a proctor or at the RWAU testing center BEFORE your one-year time frame expires. If you wait until the last minute and no proctor will be in your area, or no testing spots are available to be scheduled at the last minute, you will forfeit your exam fee.
