Trainings and Events

PLEASE NOTE: EVERY PERSON NEEDS THEIR OWN REGISTRATION FOR EACH TRAINING.1

  1. This policy applies to both virtual and in person attendance. If you choose to watch a virtual training as a group, each attendee still must have their own individual registration for each event they are attending. (MAKE SURE you log in to your profile BEFORE you register. It will tie the class to your name and auto-fill your contact & certification information.)

Frequent and Infrequent questions

Yes. Every attendee—whether joining virtually or in person—must complete an individual registration per event. If you’re attending virtually as a group, each person still requires their own account and registration to receive CEUs and access course materials properly.

  1. Log in before registering to link the event to your account—this will auto-fill your contact and certification details.
  2. Browse upcoming trainings via List View or Calendar View.

Absolutely. RWAU offers On‑Site Training designed specifically for your water system and personnel. Contact us to schedule a training, rwau@rwau.net.

CEUs (Continuing Education Units) are granted based on course duration and certification relevance. One hour of training equals 0.1 CEUs.

Certifications require a certain amount of CEUs to maintain your certification. How many CEUs you need will be based on what certifications you have.

We offer water, wastewater, cross connection, water conservation, and other specialty CEUs. The class registration page will list what CEUs are offered for that training.

Refund policies vary by event:

  • For Annual/Fall Conferences, refunds may require a fee and deadlines apply (e.g., one week before conference, $25 fee).
  • For exhibitor booths, cancellations before deadlines incur smaller fees ($100), and later cancellations may be non-refundable
  • For other non-free events:
    • cancellations a week before or earlier:
      • multi-day trainings carry a $25 cancellation fee.
      • Single day trainings carry a $10 cancellation fee
    • Cancellations within a week can either transfer their registration to a future training or forfeit the registration cost
    • Cancellations day of or later will not receive any refund at this point.

Exhibitors should:

  1. Select Exhibitor Registration in the event listing.
  2. Choose Member or Nonmember rates ($725–$1,100 for Annual; $375–$500 for Fall).
  3. Understand booth sizes, inclusions, and optional add-ons (e.g., outdoor space).
  4. Register booth attendees by deadlines to avoid extra fees
