Elwood, UT | Public Works Maintenance

Perform a variety of duties related to construction, maintenance and repair of City utilities including streets, culinary water system, wastewater system collections and treatment, pressurized irrigation. Must be able to operate various types of equipment including backhoes, dump trucks, mowers, snowplows. Must be able to work on call and respond to City calls within 30 minutes. Will perform water and wastewater operator duties. Work is performed indoors and outdoors with exposure to varying weather, traffic hazards, noise and equipment. Evening, weekend, and holiday work may be required.

• High school diploma or equivalent with experience in public works maintenance or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have a valid Utah drivers license and clean driving record.
• Must be able to obtain grade 2 II water certification within one year.
