As a Wastewater Operator, you’ll support our team by visiting client sites and helping with the basic operations and maintenance of wastewater treatment systems. No two days are the same, and you’ll gain valuable hands-on experience in the field.
- Visiting client locations to check on wastewater treatment systems and/or lift stations
- Discuss treatment operations with Apex team
- Collect samples and review analytical data
- Review operations process controls
- Compile and review maintenance logs
- Review equipment operations
- Suggest operational / process improvements with Apex team
- Provide written reports of site visits to Apex supervisor
- Other duties as required
- Cross-training and the ability to work on a variety of projects.

- 1 year of technical experience preferred (but we’re willing to train the right candidate!)
- Interest in learning about wastewater treatment and environmental systems
- Able to troubleshoot under pressure and find effective solutions.
- Knowledge of electrical repairs and testing, plumbing and pump repair and operation, water sampling and wastewater sampling.
