Proposed New Fees for Utah Public Water Systems - Make Your Voice Heard
The Utah Division of Drinking Water (DDW) has proposed new annual fees for all public water systems, starting July 1, 2026. These fees will support DDW’s regulatory operations.
- $0.0331 per 1,000 gallons of water used
- $35/year flat fee for systems using under 10 million gallons
- Applies to: community, non-transient, transient, and wholesale systems that have retail customers
- Incentives available for conservation-friendly systems
- Public Outreach Sessions:
- Final Proposal Due: September 1, 2025
- Public Hearing: September 11, 2025
